Skin Care Products: Is Fancier Better??
How much would you pay to look and feel your very best? Before spending a small fortune on the latest must-have skin care products, do your homework. Because what looks great on the shelf may not be so great for your skin.
First, find out what's in it. Read the labels and know what you're getting. If the ingredients are the same as a non-prestige brand, it's not worth spending two or three times more for a fancy name or fancier package.
Also, know what the ingredients do. Ingredients clinically proven to work include Vitamin A and its derivative Retinol. Retinol is a topical ingredient that promotes collagen production, plumping skin and reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Other ingredients clinically providen to work include hyaluronic acid, which helps to fill in facial lines, and Helioplex, which delivers superior protection against the sun's aging UV rays.
The next time a new skin care product entices you, do your homework. Make your decision based on fact, not fiction, and you'll always have that certain something.
